Airline Handling
Offering services to airlines and to individual charter operations, Sogeco manages all administration, documentation, levies, ground handling, cargo control, representation and all other services required by Air operators.

Lloyds Agency – Insurance
A division of Sogeco represents Lloyds underwriters in Mauritania and provides a full range of insurance services through Lloyds of London. Coverage is available for all categories of insurable risk.

Federal Express Parcel Services
Sogeco manage all Mauritanian operations for Federal Express (Fedex) and provide offices, data systems and infrastructure from modern dedicated offices. Sogeco operate a fleet of Fedex vehicles offering secure and efficient parcel delivery and collection services.

Sogeco are also the Mauritanian agent for Saga Express.

Accommodation
Sogeco owns several modern offices and residential buildings in Nouakchott. These buildings are fully refurbished and offer international companies and their staff a clean, safe and secure environment.

Property management services are an established area of business for Sogeco and it boasts a large property portfolio, with access to any type or size of building required. Commercial storage space is also available.

Mauritania is blessed with much open space and Sogeco can develop any required facilities through its in-house construction company.

Vehicles and Drivers
Provision of vehicles is one of the established services offered by Sogeco to the international community. Sogeco operates a well-established vehicle leasing company and provides safe, modern vehicles for its clients.

Sogeco operates Mauritania’s most modern vehicle service facilities and invites inspection of all facilities at any time.

A sister company of Sogeco operates the BMW, Land Rover and Ford Motor Company dealerships in Mauritania.

Business Services
Sogeco offers office facilities and all types of support functions. We provide a full range of facilities including translators, accountants, secretarial support, furniture, equipment and software.

These services are available on a short or long term basis.

Travel Agency and Hotels
Full travel agency, flight booking and hotel booking services are available through Sogeco. International companies are welcome to apply for account facilities.

Personnel Services
Sogeco offers “meet and greet” services for all of its clients. The company can arrange for drivers to and from the airport or ship, personal effects’ handling and transportation, hotel bookings and many other services to assist staff and crew.

In Mauritania, the “meet and greet” service is essential, providing personnel with guidance on local customs and immigration, safe drivers, assistance with baggage and a host of services that may be challenging to the unaccompanied traveller.

Consular and Diplomatic Services
Sogeco offers liaison functions with all local diplomatic representatives. We are happy to look after visa and immigration issues on behalf of its clients. The Managing Director of Sogeco is also the British Honorary Consul to Mauritania.
